Fort Bayard Medical Center is licensed and certified as a 250 bed Long Term Care Nursing Facility, including an Adult Day Health Care program.
Yucca Lodge, a Chemical Dependency Treatment Center is also located on the Fort Bayard campus. Services include in-patient and out-patient programs.
Additional in-house services include Nursing and Medical care, Social Services, Recreational Activities, Pharmacy, Dental, Laboratory and Radiology services, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy and an Adult Wellness program.
Fort Bayard Medical Center also provides Case Management Services to eligible elderly and physically handicapped individuals living in their own homes through the Community Coordinated In-Home Care Waiver Program.
Fort Bayard is owned and managed by the State of New Mexico, Department of Health.
